Kathleen L Palmer

Mrs. Kathie L. Palmer, daughter of the late Troy and Ida Kirkland was born April 11, 1956 in Fort Worth, Texas. She attended L.D. Bell High School and she had a 25 year career at Greif Bros. Corporation and retired in 2003.


She was united in holy matrimony to Randy Lee Palmer, in May of 1980. This union was blessed with one child. She was very involved with her family and daughters life. Kathie and Randy have resided in Hurst, TX for 38 years.


Kathie’s generous spirit and wonderful personality lead her to be loved by many. She was always there for everyone and took in people and animals alike. Her life was beautiful, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. She quietly departed this life Sunday, December 9, 2018. She was preceded in death by her Father, Troy Kirkland, Mother, Ida Kirkland, Sister Victoria Wiggins and nephew Matthew Wiggins.


Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her Husband: Randy Palmer, Hurst,TX; daughter: Lindsay Palmer of Bedford, TX; soon to be son-in-law, Michael Timms of Bedford,TX; Step-son: Randall Palmer, Daughter in Law: Rebecca Palmer and grandsons Russell and Alex of Boaz, AL; Brother: Richard Kirkland and Sister-in-law: Patti Kirkland of Haslet, TX; Brother-in-law: Steve Wiggins of Mansfield, AR ; Nieces and Nephews: Kristie Mangrum and husband Jaye Mangrum and children Brittany and Jacob Mangrum of Bedford, TX; Christopher Shell; Sarah Huebner and husband Chad Huebner and children Alex Parker and Raven Huebner of Bedford, TX; Rachel Kirkland of Bedford, TX.
