Kathryn Ann Clifton, a cherished resident of Arlington, passed away at her home on March 4, 2024, at the age of 69.
Born on February 5, 1955, Kathryn spent her formative years in Arlington, attending Sam Houston High School. She dedicated many years to working alongside her father, Bob Deavers, at Accurate Weld, where she displayed a strong work ethic and unwavering commitment. Kathryn was known for her artistic talents, with a passion for painting and crafting, delighting in showcasing her creations at local craft shows.
Kathryn's love extended beyond her work and hobbies to her beloved dogs, Louie and Sister, who brought immeasurable joy and companionship to her life. She was a loving and devoted mother to both her children, Bo and Kelsy. Her capacity for compassion and generosity was evident in her strong friendships, always willing to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear.
She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Kelsy Clifton, as well as many friends and loved ones. Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents, Barbara and Bob Deavers, her sister Susan, and her son, Bo Clifton.
A graveside service to honor Kathryn's life will take place at Moore Memorial Gardens on March 15, 2024, at 12:00 pm. The service will serve as a tribute to her memory and the impact she had on those blessed to know her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the ASPCA, a cause close to Kathryn's heart, reflecting her deep love for animals and the welfare of all creatures.
Kathryn's legacy of kindness, creativity, and unwavering love will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace.
