Kellie Nicole Daly

Kellie Nicole Daly née Lawrence passed from this life peacefully at her home in Roanoke, Texas on November 8th, 2017 at the age of 37 after a long, difficult battle with Cancer.
Kellie is survived by her husband John Daly, her children Collin, Payton, Karmyn and Emily.
Kellie was born on August 22nd 1980 in Arlington, Texas to Larry Lawrence and Debbie Michaud - Lawrence. She graduated From Randall High School in Amarillo, Texas in 1998 where she was a standout player on the first girls’ soccer team in the Canyon School District history. She continued her soccer career at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. Graduating in 2002 with a degree in Sociology and playing on the women’s soccer team for 4 years. She married John Daly in 2005. Kellie and John added Payton Riley Daly and Karmyn Nicole Daly to the family of Emily and Collin, from John’s previous marriage. Kellie was a kind and loving mother who cared deeply for all four children and encouraged each to be the best they can be at anything they might attempt.
Kellie Daly was an accomplished soccer athlete, but her greatest gifts were kindness, patience, love and understanding which she shared with everyone who met her. Her smile could light up the darkest room and her laughter could change the darkest mood. These are gifts that she shared with everyone she met. Even in the midst of the battle with cancer, she constantly provided messages of hope and encouragement to family and friends. Kellie Daly walked in a relationship with her Lord and Savior from her High School days. The life that she lived and the example that she left to those of us who loved her is a reflection of her Maker. In the end, that is the greatest accomplishment that anyone can aspire to in this life. We will miss her physical presence in this life desperately, but just as she knew, she is at peace and happy in a land that is as perfect as God intended. Our sorrow knows no bounds, but it is for our loss that we grieve. She has won her battle.
A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for 1:00 PM, Tuesday, November 14th at Gateway Church, North Campus located at 4209 Basswood, Fort Worth, Texas, with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Kellie’s life. An additional Celebration of life is planned at Robson Ranch Clubhouse, 9400 Ed Robson Boulevard, Denton, Texas from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The family would like to thank the countless number of people who cared for and supported Kellie during this struggle. It is impossible to count the number of people who have held us up in their prayers and hope. While impossible to thank each of you face to face, we want you to know that your shared love for Kellie has touched all of us deeply. Thank you.
