Mr. Kenneth John Ginnard passed away on September 23, 2016 with his family by his side. He was 70 years of age.

Memorial Visitation: The family will greet guests from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine. The praying of the Rosary will begin at 7 p.m. that evening.

Memorial Mass: 11:30 a.m., Friday, October 7, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Keller.

Lunch to follow mass at 1405 Shady Hollow Court, Keller, Texas. Hotel rooms at a group rate are being held at Hampton Inn & Suites, 525 Plaza Dr, Trophy Club, Texas.

Ken was born on August 2, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan to Raymond and Catherine Ginnard. His career began in Chicago where he worked as a geologist for 27 years. Ken then moved to Texas where he finished the last 13 years of his career.

He had no enemies, and everyone respected and admired him. Ken was a Godly man, a wonderful husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, and friend. He was a humble man, who many sought after for guidance, which he gave unconditionally. Ken had no idea how many lives he touched. He will be remembered for his love of God, his wife, his family, his friends, cycling, exercise, and tennis.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Catherine Ginnard. He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Mary Ann Ginnard; son, Michael Ginnard and his wife, Michelle; daughter, Kimberly Ginnard; and granddaughter, Olivia. Caring brother to Chuck (Chris), Allen (Karen), Dennis (Carrie), Lu Ann (the late Rick) Klida, Brian (Robin), John (Melissa), Cathy (the late Jim) Beyers, Ray (Angela), Monique (Daniela) and Mark (Reanne). And loving Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.
