Kenneth Dewayne Hattaway, 57, passed away on December 10, 2020 at Baylor All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, December 18, at Lucas & Blessing Funeral Home, 518 SW Johnson Ave in Burleson.
Kenny was born November 29,1963 in Pensacola, Flordia to Earl Hattaway and Martha Jo Andress Purcell. He grew up in York, Alabama. In 1987, Kenny moved to Panama to work with his father at the base commissary. In 1989, he started working for the Federal Government on the Panama Canal Commission. He worked for the Federal Government GSA division, as a contracting officer, until he retired in 2019 on disability after 30 years of service.
Kenny married Dawn in 2013 in Haslet, TX. They were happily married for 7 amazing years. Although their time together was short, they made the most of every moment. He enjoyed fishing, watching drag car racing, old cars, wood working, camping and being with his family.
Kenny was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Purcell.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Dawn; sons, Jovanni Hattaway of Brandon FL, Christopher Hattaway of Fort Worth, TX, Tyler Hedgepeth of Bedford, TX, and William Hedgepeth of Fort Worth, TX; daughters, Amberly Hattaway of Fort Worth, TX and Ashlyn Constantine and husband, Matthew of Fort Worth, TX; brothers, Bill Davis and wife, Becky of Prattville, AL, Tommy Hattaway and wife, Sherry of Ecru, MS, Walton Hattaway of Meridian, MS; sister, Beth Robinson and husband, David of Pachuta, MS; half-brothers, William Hattaway of Charlotte, NC, Wayne Hattaway and wife, Dixie of Tucson, AZ, and Bill Parcell of Gallion, AL; half-sisters, Jenanne Trout and husband, Jeff of Lafayette, LA and Jennifer Hattaway of Lake Winnebago, MO; many nieces, nephews and loving family and friends.
