Kenneth Eugene Hughes

Ken Hughes was born 12/31/1946 and passed away 11/28/2018. He was preceded in death by his sweet son, Eric Anthony Hughes. Ken is survived by his mother, Joan Puppe, his children, Melissa Hughes Rich and Matthew Hughes, his brother Kevin Hughes and sister Clare Puppe. Ken has five granddaughters; Melody, Patricia, Kelly, Tatem, and Annabelle. Ken also has five great-grandchildren; Cambria, Charlie, Carter, Jackson, and Henry.
Ken was also an active member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Grapevine. He loved dancing and had many friends in the dance community. Ken is a retired teacher. He was dedicated to the students he served and loved by his co-workers at Winfree Academy.

His family will miss him immensely. He was very proud of his family and they know how much he loved them.

FUNERAL MASS: Thursday, December 6th, 10:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Grapevine. Reception to follow service until 12:00pm.

INTERMENT: Thursday, December 6th at 1:00 pm in Lane 1 at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy. Dallas.
