Kenneth Ray Terrell, 89, of North Richland Hills, Texas went to be with the Lord on April 11, 2024.
Kenneth was born on September 21, 1934 in Haskell, Texas to Horace Terrell and Ruby Emma Everitt. He graduated from Crane High School in 1952 and then attended Texas Tech University from 1952 through 1955. As he grew older, he was in the United States Army from 1955 to 1957, and was stationed in Alaska during the time that he served.
Ken married Patricia Susan Nash, the love of his life, on January 3, 1964. He built an extremely successful career in the West Texas oil industry over the next 35 years, and eventually retired to Tyler, Texas in 1996. He enjoyed fishing at all the surrounding lakes and became a master at woodturning. He served in various capacities in the East Texas Woodturners Club and never met a stranger that he couldn't call a friend. The Terrell's were also very active members of Marvin Methodist Church in Tyler. In 2021, Ken and Patty moved to North Richland Hills to be closer to their daughter, Melanie.
Ken is preceded in death by his parents Horace and Ruby Terrell. He is also reunited with his son, Gregory Nelson Terrell.
Ken has many surviving loved ones, most importantly his dedicated wife Patricia S. Terrell; daughter Melanie Lynn Graham and her husband Bruce; grandson Justin Kenneth Graham, wife Lauren and a great-granddaughter, Adalynn; grandson Ernest O. Terrell, wife Mandy and great-grandsons, Timothy and Theodore; granddaughter Victoria Terrell Creech and great grandchildren, Sophia, Daniel, and Micah; granddaughter Jessica Terrell Young and husband Freddy; daughter-in-law, Linda Terrell; sister Patsy Ann Causey and husband Marion; and sister Brenda Kay Hummell and her husband Ralph.
