Kenneth Mack Woodson

January 2, 1938 — December 7, 2020

Kenneth Mack Woodson, 82, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 7, 2020, in his home with his family by his side.

Kenneth was born January 2nd, 1938 in Mineola, Texas to Laura and Bob Woodson. He learned at an early age the value of hard work and did whatever was needed to support himself and also later his family. He retired as an Air Cargo Supervisor from Delta Airlines.

When he wasn’t at home or at work, you could probably find him on the golf course. He loved everything about the game He also loved watching sports and cheering on his favorite Texas teams. His favorite, however, was spending time with his family and seeing everyone all together; this made him so proud.

Kenneth embraced the role of being a strong patriarch and major presence to his family as a husband, brother, father, and loving grandfather and great grandfather. His unconditional love, big heart, and bright smile will forever be remembered by all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Marilyn Woodson; his children Kenneth Woodson Jr., Natalie Meyers and her husband Keith, Patrick Woodson and his wife Maggie and Mike Woodson; his sister Sandra Tiner; grandchildren, Matt, Kayla and her spouse Travis, Jessi, Garrett, Gianna, Austin, and Trey; and seven great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Laura and Bob Woodson, his brother Gerald Woodson and sister Pat Melton.

Kenneth is loved and adored by many and will be dearly missed. Due to the current circumstances, there will be no in-person service at this time. A gathering to celebrate his life will be held at a future date.
