Kevin graduated from St. Louis University in exploration geophysics and obtained the Master of Science degree in mathematical statistics from Southern Methodist University. He served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps as a specialist in developing battle area surveillance methods. His entire working career involved oil exploration that entailed extensive worldwide travel and residence in eight different states prior to moving to Texas in 1959. He worked for Gulf Oil Corporation in Colorado, Wyoming, Pittsburgh and Oklahoma City; Hunt Oil Company in Dallas; Teledyne Geotech in Dallas and Teledyne Exploration in Houston where he had been Vice President of Data Processing and Chief Geophysicist. Kevin enjoyed playing golf, woodworking, computers, travel, music and fixing just about anything. For the last several years he sang with the Texas Millionaires barbershop harmony chorus of Fort Worth. Most importantly, he was blessed with a wonderful wife and children whom he loved very much. He had requested that his loved ones and friends not mourn too long or seriously over his departure–he is enjoying a much better life now with God.
