Kevin Douglass Geiger

Kevin Douglass Geiger, 41, of Decatur, Texas passed away on Saturday October 14, 2017 peacefully in his sleep. Kevin was born in Fort Worth, Texas on January 13, 1976 and grew up in North Richland Hills, Texas. He attended school in Birdvile ISD, ultimately graduating from Richland High.

Kevin is survived by his dad and mom, Kenneth J. Geiger and Sherrill Lea Davis Geiger of North Richalnd Hills, Texas; wife April Geiger of Rhome, Texas; two daughters, Chastitye Lea Geiger of Rhome, Texas and Chelsye Michell Geiger of Abilene, Texas; his sister Lisa Geiger Chesser and husband Bryon K. Chesser of Fort Worth, Texas; and Uncle George W. Geiger III and wife Jan Geiger of Bowie, Texas; an Aunt Melanie Yale of Lake Worth, Texas; Tamara Nicole Baker and Mahayla Baker. Kevin also leaves behind numerous loving relatives including four cousins, three nieces and many friends.

Kevin held various jobs throughout his life, which included driving a tractor trailer with his dad for several years, hauling rocks for a local rock company and dispatching trucks for Coffman JC3. Kevin enjoyed fishing, boating, riding motorcycles, swimming and camping outdoors with family and friends.

A viewing honoring Kevin will be held at Lucas Funeral Homes, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, Texas 76053 on Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and the funeral also at Lucas Funeral Home on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Burial to follow at the Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Colleyville, Texas.
