Kimberly Sawler, age 62, was born January 20, 1962 in Lowville, New York to Rose and Larry Marshall and passed away unexpectedly on February 7, 2024 in Grapevine, Texas surrounded by her family.
Kimberly was the most amazing wife, mother, daughter, Gigi and friend. She loved Jesus with her whole heart and dedicated her life to loving and serving God’s children and growing His kingdom. She founded Food for the Soul in 2009, a non-profit fighting childhood hunger. She provided over 33 million meals and snacks for our neighbors in need in both North Texas and middle Tennessee. Kimberly led countless Bible studies, consistently opening up her home to anyone and everyone. She loved being “Gigi” to her two precious grandchildren and was a mother to all she met. She especially enjoyed spending time at the lake with her husband, Bob, and holding his hand while sharing stories about their family. She is remembered as loving, God-fearing, and joy-filled, always colorful and bedazzled, sparkling inside and out.
She is preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Marshall and her sister, Julie Marshall.
Kimberly is survived by her loving husband, Bob Sawler; mother, Rose Marshall; children, Richelle Quigley and her husband, Ryan, Robert Sawler and his wife Hadlee and Dylan Sawler and his wife, Maggie; grandchildren, Norah and Camden Quigley; brother, Timothy Marshall and a host of other family and friends who were like family.
