Kitty Colleen Kennedy Welch, 67, passed away graciously on June 30, 2014 with her loving husband by her side.

Kitty was preceded in death by both parents and brother Jack Kennedy.

Born December 8, 1947 in Dallas, TX to Jack Collins and Audra Ellen (Rice) Kennedy,
Kitty grew up in Dallas, graduating from W.W. Samuel in 1966, attended North Texas University and married Skip on June 7, 1968. She had a long career in business, co-owning Children’s Fashion Outlet with her mother and aunt. Kitty enjoyed being involved in the community, received the PTA Lifetime Achievement Award and loved quilting and needlepoint.

Although the Dallas area was their home, they also lived in Toronto, Canada and Mazatlan, Mexico.

Kitty will be missed, but never forgotten.

Survivors: husband, James “Skip” Welch of 46 years; daughter and son in law, Amy and Chris Hardison; their 2 sons Grant and Gavin; Son and daughter in law, Joshua and Emily, their children Lilly, Andrew, Ryan and Maggie; Sister in law, Terri Kennedy; brother John Kennedy; brother and sister in law Jeff and Shari Kennedy; as well as 3 nieces, 3 nephews and 1 great niece.
