Krista Renee Jasso

Krista Jasso, more affectionately known as KP, Cosmic Heart and Peachy by her family and friends, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 5, 2022 in North Richland Hills, Texas. Krista was welcomed into this world on May 5, 1993 in Joliet, Illinois by her loving parents Kathy and Bruce Pifer. She graduated from Richland High School. Krista married Joey Jasso on September 7, 2019 at Messiah Baptist Church. She spent some of her working life at The Children’s Courtyard in Hurst. She loved collecting Sailor moon Memorabilia. Krista took part in speed running of games like Kirby 64 and Banjo Kazooie. Her favorite things to do included her love of bird watching and hiking. Indoors she was crafty with her hands taking part in painting, doing puzzles, scrapbooking, and reading and learning anything new that piqued her interest. Her favorite book was Memoirs of a Geisha and her favorite author was Lisa See. She loved the show Steven Universe and really resonated with the character Pearl. Krista enjoyed the Carpenters music very much. She was a member of the TCC Pride Club. Krista hated violence of all kinds, even fake, she'd turn away from the tv screen at that part in movies or shows. She found joy in dressing up nice even if she wasn't going anywhere. Krista loved to use the little snapchat filters that gave you cute bear ears. She cared tremendously for her cats, Petra, and Buttons(Deceased). Krista had a way of always telling you what she thought no matter what the topic or situation called for, she was a genuine person to her soul and didn't care what anyone thought about her opinion. Krista has left her memory to be cherished by her husband, Joey; mother and father, Kathy and Bruce Pifer, siblings, Eric Burgess, Frank Pifer, Sarah Pifer; in laws, Tracie and Jose Jasso; brother and sisters in law, Jesse and Carlee Jasso, Audrey Jasso; nieces and nephews, Banan Burgess, Annalise Burgess, Ollie Shepherd, Owen Burgess and Alistair Jasso; Pifer, Yeager, Kimmel, VanRoosendaal, and Pacheco her cousins; friends, Trevor Bradley, Meg Steffens, Matt and the rest of Leland Lanes; and her beloved cat, Petra Jasso.
