Grapevine--Kurt Edward Hardin, Sr, 77, passed away Monday, Oct. 18, 2021.
Memorial Service: 3:00 p.m. Friday at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine.

Kurt (born Ronald Dale Kurtz) born Oct. 9, 1944, in Shelbyville, KY to Stanley and Edna Kurtz. He grew up farming tobacco until he moved to Texas in the late 1960s and resided in Grapevine since at least 1969. He was the owner of several small businesses, DFW Small Engine being the pride of his life's achievements. Kurt was the father to Rhonda Kurtz Kerr and Kurt Hardin, Jr, his only two children in this world.
He was preceded in death by his late parents, his brothers Stanley, Jr and Tony Kurtz and his Wife Carolyn Taylor.
Survivors: One and only Daughter, Rhonda; One and only son, Kurt and wife Lisa; one and only Grandson, Tristan; One and only granddaughter, Lena; stepson, Tommy; stepdaughter Jerilynn.
