Ladislao V. Garcia

Ladislao V. Garcia 84, passed away early Sunday morning July 23, 2017 surrounded by his family. Born October 14, 1932 to Ramon and Maria Del Refugio in Monterrey Mexico. He moved to San Antonio, Texas over 52 years ago and met his wife of 52 years Graciela Morales there. His employer, Engine Components relocated from San Antonio to Grapevine, Texas in 1968 for the new Dallas-Ft. Worth International Airport. "Lalo" as his friends called him moved his small family to Grapevine along with many lifelong friends and co-workers. He lived in Grapevine until his untimely death. He worked hard to provide for his family and achieved the American Dream. His adventurous nature, work ethic and determination allowed endless opportunities for his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his beloved wife, five children, six grandchildren, siblings, many nieces and nephews. He enjoyed fishing, grilling and spending time at Grapevine Lake. He always said he didn't think he would live to be this old but now, he can rest in peace with his parents in heaven. His legacy lives on with his children and grandchildren.
