Lance M. Rittiner

d. March 13, 2018

Lance was born to Linda and Louis Rittiner III in New Orleans, LA. Lance remembered his early years with friends and extended family in New Orleans very fondly. The family moved to San Diego in 1980. Lance was active in Blessed Sacrament Church, graduated from St Augustine High School, and later graduated from UCSD.

Lance held several positions working in the IT and Cellular Communications industries, including Qualcomm, LG, and most recently Interop Technologies. He mainly worked in quality control, testing various types of software. Being a software test engineer was a perfect career for Lance, putting his gifts of intelligence and logic to good use.

Lance and Dawn were married on July 7, 2007 (date chosen by Lance) and celebrated their 10th Anniversary last year. They have two children Elise, 9 yrs old and Wesley, 6 years old. Having a family and being a father was one of Lance's priorities in life. He enjoyed being a father immensely and taking care of his family was a role he took very seriously. The family moved to Fort Worth, Texas in 2016 with the desire to provide a better future for their children.

Along with his family, Lance's faith was a prominent focus in his life. He was a member of Shadow Mountain Community Church in El Cajon, CA. Lance had trusted Jesus Christ for his salvation and because of that his family has the assurance that Lance is present with his Lord.

Lance is survived by his wife Dawn, their children Elise and Wesley, his brother Lee and Lee's wife René, his uncle David Painter and David's wife Dawn, his uncle Roy Rittiner, and his first cousins Sean Painter and David Rittiner.
