In Memory of LaRay Eugene Bray

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our cherished uncle, LaRay (Ray) Bray. He peacefully departed this world on January 22nd at his home in Fort Worth, Texas, at the age of 54.

Ray Bray, born on April 25, 1969, in Sidney, Nebraska, brought immense joy and warmth to the lives of those around him. Over the course of 35 years, he dedicated his career to American Airlines. His passions included listening to audibles, dancing whenever he could, and he touched the hearts of many with his charm and compassion. Ray never met a stranger, making everyone he encountered feel special. His family held an extraordinary place in his heart, and each time we saw him, he ensured we understood just how much we meant to him.

Family was the cornerstone of Ray Bray's life. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories in the hearts of his wife, Victoria Bray of Fort Worth, TX; his daughters, Ashley Bray of Charles City, Iowa, and Amanda (Duana) Kitchen of Keller, Texas; and his 7 grandchildren. Ray is also survived by his sisters: Karen (Patrick) McCormick of Lewellen, Neb, Tami Benzel (David) Carrollton, TX, and Michelle (Jacques) Turner of Brighton, CO, and his brother Douglas (Ingeborg) Brauer of Germany. Sister-in-law Sus (Machelle) Kroener of Wichita Falls, TX. Additionally, he is survived by many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Elaine (Moore) Brauer, his brother Leo Bray, and his in-laws, Nancy and Ronnie Kroener.

Please join us in honoring and celebrating the life of Ray Bray at a funeral service to be held on February 2, 2024, 2:00 pm at Lucas Funeral Home, located at 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, TX 76053. Friends and family are invited to join us in remembering and celebrating LaRay's life. Following the service, a reception will be held immediately at Bethel Family Worship Center, 946 Pipeline Rd, Hurst, TX.

We extend our deepest gratitude for the condolences and support during this difficult time. May Ray Bray rest in eternal peace, and may his memory continue to inspire and bring comfort to those who knew and loved him.
