Larry William Roumell

Larry William Roumell, 64 of Era, Texas, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020. Larry was born on March 6, 1955, to Mother Alma Montgomery, and Father William Pannell in Aurora, Missouri. Larry’s siblings are Carolyn Sweet, Frank Roumell, Starla Pannell and Craig Pannell. Larry Roumell was married to Jeanie Roumell on June 20, 1981; and they were married 38 years.
Larry worked at the City of Keller, City of Roanoke, as well as the City of Northlake as a Public Works Director. Some of his favorite things he enjoyed were carpentry, reading, and music. He loved spending time with his kids and grandchildren. Larry will be remembered for his knowledge, quotes, sarcasm, as well as his love for his family.
Larry is survived by Spouse; Jeanie Roumell, Sons; Casey, Gene, Daniel, and Anthony Roumell, Daughters; Kathleen Givens, and Teresa Roumell, Grandchildren; Jordan, Micha, Ethan, Josiah, Sydney, Kyndall, Kiley, Ben, Ozias, Zayden, Will, Peyton, and other family and friends. Larry is preceded in death by his Mother; Alma Montgomery, Father; William Pannell, and Sister; Carolyn Sweet.
The funeral service will be held at Lucas Funeral home located at 1601 S. Main Street, Keller, Texas on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 10:00 am. Brian Givens, minister of First Baptist Church in Rusk will be officiating. Larry Roumell’s final resting place will be at the family cemetery in Mertzon, Texas.
Family will have a gathering the night before the service, at Casey and Michelle’s house Friday, March 13, 2020 from 6-10 pm.
