Latiume Latai Tonga

Latiume Latai Tonga was born on May 17, 1960 in Fuaamota, Tonga. He passed away on September 26, 2023 in Fort Worth at the age of 63.

He was a fleet manager at American Airlines and was deeply loved by his family, friends, and coworkers.
He was preceded in death by his father, Manase Latu Tonga; mother, Akosita Siulolovao Tahi Tonga; siblings, Siaosi Tonga and Luisa Ofa.

He is survived by his loving wife, Uinise “Winnie” Tonga; children, Manase Tonga and wife, Lolohea of Lehi, Utah; Matangi Tonga of San Mateo, California; Longolongo Nau and husband, Sione of Fort Worth, Texas; Siosifa Tonga and wife, Pesi of Oakland, California; Etoni Tonga of Hurst, Texas; Siosifa Tau of Hurst, Texas, Mele Tau of Hurst, Texas and Fakanaua Tau of Hurst, Texas; grandchildren, Semisi, Leila, Viliami Hettie, Latai, Tangi, Latiume, and Manase; siblings, Meletupou Finau of San Mateo, California; Kalisi Fungavaka of Sacramento, California; Longolongo Finau and husband, Tevita of Sacramento, California; Minoneti Pahulu and husband Peni of San Mateo, California; Fipe Tonga of Tonga; and Akanesi Piutau and husband Siale Hola of Sacramento, California; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and a host of friends.

Family Services will begin and 9:00 A.M. on Friday, October 6, 2023 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 200 Fair Oaks Blvd, Euless, Texas 76039. Interment will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville.
