Lauren went to be with her Lord and Savior on the morning of August 4, 2024. She was proceeded in death by her brother, Grant Hendren and is survived by her parents, Larry and Stacey, sister, Meagan, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Lauren had the great love for the Lord, His word and sharing this with others. As one of her friends said, “You don’t have to know Lauren very well to know that she was a light in the darkness, a light that emanates the word of God. Lauren always came into class ready to help, to learn, and to spread her positivity.”
She touched so many, and as we look back and reflect on her life, we see the multitude of ways God was using her, most clearly, we see the work of His salvation in her own life, even at the earliest of age. We knew she was set apart for something special and saw her fruit manifest in so many ways during her time here.
One of Lauren’s favorite Bible Verses is Romans 12:2: “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”
