Laurence Walter Crapo

Laurence Walter Crapo (“don’t forget the o or I’ll be in trouble” as he would always say), age 78, was born May 21, 1941 in Oak Park, IL and passed away peacefully in his home with his family on May 11, 2020, in Grapevine, TX.
He was a true patriot who loved his family, his dogs, and never missed the opportunity to talk about our country. He was a proud US Navy veteran who served on the tincan USS John R. Pierce. After retiring, as a Credit Manager, he was recognized for his many years volunteering for the Grapevine Library. He was a proud member of both the Masonic Lodge in Grapevine and the Sons of the American Revolution, Dallas Chapter. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Crapo, of 55 years, daughters, Tracy Wicker, Keri Gundy, and Jennifer Hawkins, their spouses, 12 grandchildren, and 1 great granddaughter.
