Leah Rae Martinie, 83, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2021. She was born on May 8, 1937 in Verdunville, West Virginia to Ivan and Verda Napier.
She was a successful business owner in Fort Worth for more than 25 years. Her early years were spent in southern Florida. She also had the pleasure of living in Germany and traveling around Europe.
Leah was known for her generous heart opening her home to many family and friends needing a place to live. She deeply cherished dogs throughout life, many of which were fortunate enough to find their way into her loving home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Mae DeWitt and Verda Dykes, brothers Charles Napier and David Napier.
She is survived by her daughter Drusilla Enocksen, daughter Debbie Wilson, grandson Christopher Ross Gilmore and wife Nicole, grandson Richard Cornwell, brother Ivan Napier Jr. and wife Donnie. She had one great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
Burial will take place later at Palm Memorial Cemetery in Homestead, Florida.
