FORT WORTH -- Leamon Gannaway Keele, Jr., 85, longtime evangelist and retired Air Force master sergeant, passed away Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Service: 1 p.m. Monday at College Hill Church of Christ, 7447 College Circle North, North Richland Hills. Interment: Fairview Cemetery, Denison. Visitation: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the Lucas Funeral Home, Hurst.
Memorials: Memorials may be made to World Bible School.
Leamon served as a volunteer chaplain at UT Hospital in Tyler for 16 years.
Leamon was preceded in death by his parents, Leamon G. Keeke Sr. and Alta Mae Howell Keele; his former wife, Jean Marshall; and two brothers, Howell and Asa Keele.
Survivors: His loving wife, Edith Keele; sister, Gene Holmes; brother, Dr. Bill Keele; children, Linda Stevens and husband, Gary, Larry Keele and wife, Janet, Leonard Keele and wife, Kathy, Les Keele and wife, Deatra, Becky and C.B. Subrahmanyam; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
