Lee Ella (Dixon) McClain was born on April 4, 1937 in Ramer, Montgomery County, Alabama to the late David Dixon and Leola Mitchell Dixon. She went home to be with the Lord three days after her 83rd birthday on April 7, 2020 in Grapevine, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Otis McClain; and son, Otis Gregory “Greg” McClain.
Lee Ella is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Walters of North Richland Hills, Texas and Cynthia Henderson and her husband, Michael of Pelham, Alabama; grandchildren, Marsha Walters-Nicholas and husband, Richard; and Micah Rucker and wife, Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Cameron Gray, Arryian Nicholas, Jayna Rucker, Jordan Rucker, and Jace Rucker. She was preceded in death by brothers, Samuel, Daniel, and Timothy Dixon. Her remaining siblings are: Columbus Dixon (Bessie), Benny Dixon, David Dixon, Hattie McCall, Willie Jane Roberson (Cleveland), and Rosie Turner. She also leaves to mourn numerous nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
A private graveside service will be held where Ms. McClain will be laid to rest near her son, Greg at Calloway Cemetery in Euless, Texas.
