Leonard D. Alder, 77, of Keene, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29, 2014, at Henderson Street Baptist Church, 919 E. Henderson St. in Cleburne, with Pastor Eddie Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth.
Pallbearers will be Don Stack, Don Cornett, Scott Hughes, Chad Cornett and Erich Skidmore.
Leonard was born Feb. 13, 1937, in Opportunity, Neb., to David and Helen Marie Sonder Alder. He was very active in Henderson Street Baptist Church, and served in the U.S. Army.
Leonard is survived by his step-daughters, Barbara Stack and husband, Don, Jeanette Cornett and husband, Don; cousin, Dona Thornbridge of Page, Neb.; and lots of extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Helen Marie Sonder Alder; and wife, Lena Mae King Alder.
Friends who wish may make memorial donations to the American Lung Association in memory of Mr. Alder.
