Leonard Walter Schuessler

Leonard Walter (Dub) Schuessler, of Bedford Texas, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020. Dub was born in Mason Texas on October 4, 1934. He graduated from Mason High School in 1953. In 1983 he married Barbara Ward, his loving wife, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dub retired from Benjamin Moore paint company where he was a sales representative for many years. He also retired from the Texas National Guard as a Master Sergeant. After retiring he and Barbara owned a real estate company and a café in Weed, New Mexico before moving to Bedford Texas to be closer to family. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammie Bufe. He is survived by his wife Barbara, his son Biff Schuessler of Fort Worth and his wife Jiayang, his son-in-law David Bufe of Hurst, stepdaughter Kim Hoyt and her husband Bob of Pennsylvania and stepson Jeff Perry and his wife Marti of Albuquerque, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held after the holidays in Mason Texas.
