Leone Marie Monigold

Leone Marie Monigold passed away peacefully on October 9th in Grapevine, Texas. She was born in Freeport, Illinois on December 19, 1915. She graduated from Warren High School and married the love of her life, Henry Monigold. Leone and Henry live in Illinois, Ohio and Texas.
She attended bowling Green State University and obtained a certificate for Practical Nursing.
Leone and Henry traveled extensively. They visited all 50 states and several countries.
She is survived by her grandson, Kirk, daughter-in-law, Marilyne, nieces, Eileen Kauffman, Linda Claire, Falene Baumgartner, and sister-in-law Patricia Hendrix.
She is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and a brother. Leone was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry, son Gary, and daughter Astrid.
Leone will be laid to rest at Lena Burial Park in Lena, Illinois on November 5th, 2018.
