Lester G Shaw, 81 of Bedford TX, passed peacefully into eternal life on Monday, July 01, 2019 at Universal Health Services in Fort Worth TX. He was born February 27, 1938 in Deland, Florida to Robert L., Sr. and Irene (Beach) Shaw. On May 13, 1978 he married Anna Zimmer in South Bend, Indiana. She survives along with 1 Daughter, Cynthia (Chris) Vincent, Chester Springs PA; 3 Sons, Lester (Johanna) Shaw of Lanesborough MA, Brad (Catherine) Shaw of Haltom City TX and Bryan (Jessica Friedman) Shaw of Austin TX; 5 Grandchildren: Sarah (Andrew) Blackwell, Kevin (Amber) Vincent, Nicholas Shaw, Daniel Shaw, Conlin Shaw; 5 Great Grandchildren: Aaron, Jude, and Max Blackwell, Silas Vincent, Lilakai Shaw; 2 Brothers, Don (Terry) Shaw, Deland, FL, Edward "Bucky" (Judy) Shaw, Orange City, FL; 2 Sisters, Diana Nees, Poland, IN, and Kate Kay, Elkhart, IN and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert L and Irene Shaw, father and mother in-law David and Jean Zimmer, daughter Mary Irene Shaw, brothers, John, Carlton, Robert, and Oscar “Espie” Shaw; and sisters, Mary Morin, Mildred Peterson, Vernera Hoffer, and Nancy Hood. Mr. Shaw was a 1956 graduate of Nappanee High School. He served in the US Navy.
