Lila Darlene Ely

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lila Darlene Ely, known to all as Darlene, on November 8, 2024, at the age of 66. Darlene was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched many lives. Born on September 10, 1958, she dedicated her life to family, friends, and community. 

Darlene is survived by her devoted husband, Bruce; her loving son, David; and her cherished grandchildren, Olivia, Aiden, and Allison. Her family was her pride and joy, and she found immense happiness in gathering loved ones at her home, often by the pool, where she entertained with games, laughter, and joy. One of Darlene’s greatest passions was baking, and she treasured the time spent teaching her grandchildren how to bake, creating memories they will hold dear forever.

Throughout her career in office administration, Darlene was known for her skill in budgeting and managing clients with grace and diligence. Beyond her professional talents, she possessed a deep generosity of spirit, always looking out for others and often acting as a mother figure to those who needed it most. 

Darlene’s kindness, warmth, and love will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life and the wonderful memories she leaves behind.
