Lillian Cordelia Adams was born to Walter and Annie Adams on August 2, 1928 in Ranger, Texas. She was named after her two grandmas Lillian Valentine and Cordelia Adams.
After a hard life on the farm, she went to Dallas and attended secretarial school. She then began working for the City of Dallas water department. While in Ranger visiting family she met and married Jack Crockett Boney in April 1947. They eventually became self employed doing construction work. Which provided them a good life style and a wonderful retirement full of National and International travel.
She is remembered by her children as a loving and kind woman. Her motto was always "If you can't say something good don't say anything at all" and she lived by that rule. She taught her kids and lived by the golden rule. She was a long standing member of The United Methodist Church. She loved Jesus and her family with all her heart.
Lillian is survived by 2 brothers, 4 kids, 7 grandkids, 8 great grandkids and many nieces and nephews whom she loved and took care of through the years. All of which will miss her love, her smile and her tender loving care.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister Clare Mae, 1 brother Welton.
Although we celebrate her entrance to heaven she will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that friends family make donations in Lillian's memory to the Bullock Cemetery Association, P. O. Box 316, Ranger TX 76470.
