Lillie Nelda Phillips

Lillie was born in The Grove, TX on December 22, 1933 to Rudolph and Hulda Richter. She was called home to eternal rest July 24, 2018.
She was baptized January 10, 1934 at St. Paul The Grove. She was the fifth of seven children and loved growing up on the farm. She was confirmed in her faith on August 24, 1947 at Zion Lutheran in Walburg. She married Doyle Phillips on October 18, 1959. They were blessed with two children. Lillie was very involved in their lives serving as room mother, softball coach, and Sunday School teacher. In her later years, she enjoyed being a grandmother. She could often be found in her garden or shelling and selling pecans. Her faith and family always came first in her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle, her parents, brothers Henry and Leonard, and sisters Hilda and Eileen. She is survived by her children, Horace Phillips, Kathy (Kevin) Lentz, her grandchildren, Rebekah and Jacob Lentz, two brothers, Walter and Ed, as well as many nieces and nephews.
