Lily Marguerite White

October 7, 1952 — March 26, 2022

Lily passed away on March 26, 2022 at the age of 69 after a courageous battle of breast cancer,
surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the
fullest and through her example of kindness and love.

Lily was a very caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Lily was born in El Paso
Texas on October 7, 1952, to Orson and Rita Hawkins, and is the youngest of 7 children. Lily
graduated from the University of Texas Permian Basin with a Bachelor’s of Sociology with a
minor in Business Management in 1993 and is a licensed baccalaureate social worker (LBSW).
Lily poured her heart into services to others and advocating for children. Lily was blessed with a
large and loving family of 4 daughters and 17 grandchildren. Lily moved to Fort Worth in 2012
with her devoted husband of 25 years. In recent years, she worked at Tarrant County College
Fire Rescue Training center as an administrative office assistant, where she made genuine long-lasting friendships. Lily’s physicians at the Center for Cancer with blood Disorders, Dr. Robyn
Young and Nurse Practitioner Helena Innaccone and staff were valiant in their efforts to defeat
this disease but as her life ebbed, they attended to her comfort and the comfort of the family.
For this, the family is everlasting grateful.

Lily is known for her sweet heart, love for gardening, cooking for her grandchildren, and taking
care of others, especially family. Lily survived by her husband Bruce White; Daughters Jamie Alcocer
