Linda Faye Fitting Dimon, 76, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2020 in Dallas ,TX.
Graveside Service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Godley Cemetery. Visitation: Friday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lucas and Blessing Funeral Home.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Frontiers of Flight Museum in Dallas or a charity of your choice.
Linda was born January 9, 1944 in Cleburne, Texas to Virgil and Jeanette (James) Freeman.
Linda spent her early years on her grandparents farm in Godley, Texas. She always said those were the best years of her childhood. She spent many years in Midland, Texas before marrying Banks Dimon and moving to Dallas. Linda was an active member of Central Christian Church and spent many years volunteering at the Frontiers of Flight Museum. She was preceded in death by her husband, Banks Dimon; parents Virgil Freeman, Jan and John Cumbie and Son in law, Jim Moritz.
Survivors: Son, James Fitting of Germany; daughter, Khristi Moritz of San Antonio, Texas; step-daughter, Hope Dimon Coutino; sister, Carolyn (Jim) McPherson of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Natasha (Harvey) Toolan, Christopher (Alexandra Ess) Moritz, Michael Moritz and nephew, David Whitkus.
