It is with tremendous sadness and a broken heart that, after a courageous battle with cancer, Linda Foster, age 64, was born into eternal life on March 28, 2024. She fought with grace and courage.
Linda was born on December 1, 1959 in Waterbury Connecticut. She was the daughter of Vernon Peacock, and Ruth Breedon. Ruth would go onto marry Frank George who became Linda’s adoptive father.
In 1985, Linda started her career with American Airlines reservations in Hartford, Connecticut. She soon transferred to Nashville, Tennessee to become a gate agent. After many years this was followed by a transfer to Columbus, Ohio and finally Dallas, Texas. Linda’s career spanned 35 years with American Airlines. Her love of travel took her all over the United States and Canada. Overseas destinations included England, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland.
After retiring in 2020, Linda found great joy in the new friends she made at the Flower Mound senior center. Linda was a true artist at heart with talent for both acrylic and watercolors. She also enjoyed the weekly bingo and the mahjong games.
Linda was preceded in death by her grandmother Mildred Breedon, father Frank George.
Linda is survived by her loving husband of 17 years Rick Foster Jr; mother Ruth George, uncle Edwin and aunt Marie soltysiak, cousin Mark and Randi Soltysiak and their children Jay and Ari.
You may be gone, but you will not be forgotten. Loved by all, you will always be in our hearts. Thank you for being a friend.
