Linda Dee was born on November 9, 1941 in Athens, Texas to Dee Andrew and Gwen Darnell Jordan. She entered her Heavenly home on April 19, 2020 to be reunited with her parents and siblings. She graduated from Birdville High School in 1960, and attended Arlington State College Nursing School, and finished her studies at St. Joseph Hospital in Ft. Worth, where she worked until its closing, then moving to Medical Plaza. She was a nurse for 40 years.
She was a member of Richland Hills Baptist Church, and lived in the family home in Richland Hills until it burned in 1996, then moved to N. Richland Hills for her retirement years. Her family knew her as the one who served the family, loved the kids and grandkids, and took all the pictures. Her nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, were the focus of her life during her retirement, and they loved her like a second mother.
She was preceded in death by her Father and Mother, two sisters, Jo Ann Jordan Joubert and Nelda Jordan Boyd.
She is survived by her sister Margie Jordan Weaver, and husband Bill, three nieces, Michelle Lareau, Amanda Boyd, and Cheryl Griffith, four nephews, Andy Weaver, Matt Weaver, Josh Weaver, and wife Jenn, and Jay Weaver, two great nieces, Gwen Lareau, and Addalyn Weaver, and six great nephews, Nick Weaver, Jordan Weaver, Alex Weaver, Dayn Lareau, Gideon Weaver and Edgell Weaver.
