Linda Bernice Kelley, 71, of Colleyville, TX, died on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at Baylor All Saints in Ft. Worth, TX.
A memorial service will be held at Abundant Life Church 1520 W. Wall St., Grapevine, TX on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 3 pm. There will also be an additional memorial service to be held in Vienna, MO at a later date. Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine, TX is assisting the family with arrangements.
Linda Kelley was born in St. Louis, MO on January 30, 1949, to John and Doris (Poss) Smith. She married Donald Eugene Kelley on July 1, 1967.
Linda Kelley graduated from Cleveland High School in 1967. She received her associate’s degree in practical theology in 1978 at Christ for the Nations Institute (CFNI) in Dallas, TX.
For most of her life, Linda served as a pastor’s wife and a missionary in Australia from 1979 to 1991. Together Linda and Don Kelley became Pastors and teachers at Vienna Christian Life Assembly and Academy in Vienna, MO and retired after 25 years. In addition, Linda was a nurse’s aide, a legal courier, and a court clerk. She was also instrumental in prison fellowship in Fremantle, Western Australia.
Linda was known as a mother and friend too many. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her greatest joy. Linda was a blessing to all her knew her and a powerful woman of God.
Linda is survived by her husband; three children, Tammy (Tim) Tung of Springfield, MO, Kevin (Chris) Kelley of Colleyville, TX, and Daniel (Jama) Kelley of Vienna, MO; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and one brother, Lloyd (Carol) Smith of Moscow Mills, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Rick and Ernie Smith.
