Linda Lee Latimer (Sawyer), 73, passed away on September 15, 2020.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 11:00 am at White's Chapel United Methodist Church, 185 S. White Chapel Blvd. Southlake, TX 76092 With Visitation beginning at 10:00 am.
Linda was born on April 19, 1947, in Dallas, Texas, to Elbert C. Sawyer and Laurnell R. Sawyer. In 1961 she married Ronald J. Dyer and soon after became a mother of her two children, Ron and Chris.
Living in Dallas, Tulsa, Lake St. Louis and the Rockwall areas, she spent her life split between many years in each city. Linda was a professional in the travel industry for over 40 years and was a member in her local Chamber of Commerce's and was diligently involved in each community.
Linda was a devout Christian and loved being an active member at her church with her mother, Lou, following the Texas Rangers, and especially loving her little dogs. She was always a proponent of rescuing the ones with special needs who really needed homes: Michelle, Mimmette, Tex, and her current sidekick, Blumer Boy. Being a mother and grandmother was what she took the most pride in accomplishing.
Linda was preceded in death by both her parents.
She is survived by her two sons, Ronald Dyer and Chris Dyer; step mom, Lou Sawyer; sisters, Diann Markle and Cathy Sawyer; brother, Toby Sawyer; granddaughters, Alex and Hannah; several great grandchildren, and many more loving family and friends.
