Linda Karen Lewis, 71, passed away February 14, 2021 in Burleson. She was born January 17, 1950 in Cleveland, OH, to Leonard and Elizabeth West. After completing high school in Brecksville, she earned her RN degree and began her nursing career which included private duty care and work with hospice patients. Linda married Harvey Lewis and they had five sons together. In 1984, the family relocated from Ohio to Burleson, where she would live the rest of her life.
Linda was proud of her short time as a Girl Scout leader. She enjoyed working with children in the church nursery and teaching Sunday school, among other ministries in several area churches. She loved playing board games, especially Scrabble, with friends and family and spent a lot of her free time on doing crossword puzzles.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Len and Betty West and brother, Leslie.
She is survived by her husband, Harvey; sons, David and wife, Margarette, James and Lori, Marc and wife, Claudia, Matthew and Allison, and Timothy; brother, Lenn West and wife, Lori; sister, Luraina Krystek and husband, Eugene; step-mother, Sue West; nephew, Christopher West; nieces, Shannon West and Bethany Krystek; and grandchildren, Violet Lewis, William and Trinity Pacheco, Brianna and Harley Young, Ace Watts, Kathryn Poarch, and Tori Beebe; and numerous cousins, friends, and her beloved cat, Dennis.
