Mrs. Rutherford was born November 4, 1941 in Collin County to William and Claudie Mae Rackley. She worked as a legal secretary, but most loved and cherished being a wife and mother. Mrs. Rutherford was a lifelong member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority
Mrs. Rutherford was preceded in death by her parents and brother William Rackley.
Mrs. Rutherford is survived by her husband of 51 years Marvin; son Michael (Shana) Rutherford; daughter Melissa (Ryan) Rutherford Evans; brother Michael Rackley and grandson Cole Jackson Evans.
