Bedford—Linnea Lee, 78, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019.
Celebration of Life: 2 pm Friday, Jan 18th at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Thursday at Lucas.
Linnea was born in Duncan, OK and traveled with her daddy extensively. She was named Linnea after a Swedish wild flower. She moved to Fort Worth with family and enjoyed playing the piano for her church.
Linnea was a voracious reader and loved writing cards to her friends and family. Her other passion was for animals but especially cats. Each one was deeply loved and well cared for (aka: spoiled).
She worked many years as a court clerk for the City of Hurst and enjoyed laughing with her co-workers and police men. Then she worked as a Marketing Operations Manager (M.O.M.) for Day Real Estate which is owned by her daughter and son-in-law.
All who met Linnea were blessed by her quick wit, unique style, generous heart and sense of humor. She knew how to have fun. She was loved deeply by all friends and family and will be missed intensely. We will never forget her as she leaves a legacy of love for all of us.
Survivors: Linnea Lee is preceded in her death by her parents and her husband. She also leaves behind 3 children, 5 grandchildren, a sister and a host of other relatives and friends.
