Lisa Gail Eubanks Martin Johnston was born on July 14, 1965 in Fort Worth, Texas and passed away on September 21, 2022 in Bedford, Texas at the age of 57 years old.
Lisa was a 1983 graduate of Trinity High School in Euless. She was longtime Trojan supporter since childhood along with generations of her family. Attending football games was definitely a fall favorite for many years.
She loved the beach and putting her toes in the sand. She enjoyed crafting, thrifting, Mexican food, and her beloved Koalas. Lisa’s favorite time of year was Christmas and she possessed great passion for decorating by having Christmas trees in every room and decorations in all spaces of her home. Lisa always enjoyed watching airplanes at the LookOut, which made her career at American Airlines very special to her. She was patriotic and loved fireworks.
Lisa was a city girl that became country girl when she married her husband, Roger. He taught Lisa to adapt to the country way of life and she really enjoyed hunting, swamp walking, and even holding her own fish. Spending time and creating memories with her family was the most precious to her and she will be missed deeply.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ivan Junior Eubanks.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Roger Glen Johnston of Calhoun, Louisiana; children, Melinda Martin (Aaron Strickland) of Euless, Amanda Martin (Rickey Luster) of Dallas; Sarah Kay Johnston of Calhoun, Louisiana and Wyatt Johnston of Calhoun, Louisiana; her mother, Jodie Eubanks of Euless; proud Mamow of her grandchildren, Abigail Strickland, Kyleigh Strickland, Treyton Strickland, Riley Johnston and Rickey Luster, III; siblings, Ivena Farison and husband, David of Euless, Danny Eubanks and wife, Jane of Paris, Donna Bardin and husband, Dennis of Union Valley; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, September 26, 2022 at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 27, 2022 also at Lucas Funeral Home with Interment to follow at 3:00 P.M. at Smithfield Cemetery in North Richland Hills, Texas.
