Lloyd Vernon “Vern” Errickson Jr. passed away Wednesday October 25, 2017 after a long battle with COPD.
Private Services will be held. Should friends desire, memorials may be given to the American Civil Liberties Union.
Vern was born October 3, 1933 in Livingston New Jersey to Lloyd Errickson Sr. and Kathleen (Fielding) Errickson. He graduated from Upsala College in 1956 with a major in business administration. Vern served as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was married for 30 years to Marion (Intenso) Errickson and was the loving father of two daughters, Kelly and Caroline.
Vern spent his business career in sales administration. He joined Alcon Laboratories in 1977 and relocated to Ft Worth, Texas in 1988. After his retirement in 1992, he enjoyed traveling with his long time friend Susan Faro, reading and doing crossword puzzles. He was well known for his quick wit and sense of humor.
Vern was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Raymond.
Survivors: Brother Arthur Errickson and wife Ginger; daughters Kelly Cunningham and husband Joseph, and Caroline Errickson; grandchildren Drew, Erin, Kylie and Lucas and friend Susan Faro.
