Lloyd Edward Mucklow, of Granbury, Texas, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020 in Granbury, Texas. He will always be remembered as a great father, loving husband, self-less sweet man and a gun-toting
American patriot to all that knew and loved him. He was the first baby born in Richmond, California on January 1, 1940 to Dirl & Elma Mucklow. He served his country as an aircraft mechanic in the United States Air Force for 16 years, over 3 of which were spent in Vietnam. Edd was married to his loving wife, Doris, for over 40 years. They traveled the country together singing, writing and recording country music and spent a year in Africa with a humanitarian outfit. Edd is survived by his wife, Doris Mucklow, daughter Missy Beevers and husband Steve, son David Cook and wife Vickie, daughter Mindy Gardner and husband Mark, 18 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Charles Mucklow, sister-in-law Eileen Mucklow, and son Mike Cook.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Lucas Funeral Home 1601 S. Main St, Keller, Texas. Funeral/interment will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 15, 2020 at Prairie Mound Cemetery on Prairie Mound Cemetery Road in Argyle, Texas.
