Lloyd Dudley Shelton

Lloyd Dudley Shelton was born on September 3, 1935 in Three Rivers, Texas to the late Pauline (Scott) Shelton and William Homer Shelton. He passed away on November 3, 2021.

Lloyd served our country in the United States Army. He was retired from Ralston Purina. He donated a lot of his time to the MAAG Warbirds working on the B-24, “Diamond Lil” and B-29, “FiFi”. He enjoyed researching genealogy and he loved to fish. He also enjoyed playing videogames with his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Hazel Julia Shelton.

He is survived by his children, Lloyd Shelton, Jr. and his wife, Janna of Hawley, TX, William “Buddy” Shelton, Erica Shelton and Keri Shelton all of Haltom City, TX; grandchildren, Crystal, Jessica, Rebecca, Lloyd III, Madalynn, Jade, Scott, Julia, Mark and James; great-grandchildren, Liberty, Carson, Brody, Scarlett, Charles, Zachary, and Riley; sister, Doris Hancock and brother, Archie Paul Hancock.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Committal Service with Army Honors will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, November 22, 2021 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery located at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
