Lola Yearwood Bierig

Lola Bierig, age 82, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019.
Service: A graveside will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at IOOF Cemetery in Watonga, OK.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday evening at Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst.
Lola was born December 5, 1936 in Canton, Oklahoma to the late Lunnie and Goldie Yearwood. She graduated from Watonga High School in 1955 as the Valedictorian of her class. Lola married Ray Bierig on March 31, 1956 in Ringwood, OK. After they were married, they lived in San Angelo and Midland before moving to the Dallas Fort Worth area where they have lived for the past 50 years. Lola will be remembered as a strong Christian lady by her family and all of her friends.
Lola was preceded in death by parents; son-in-law, Douglas Wade and brother, Gayle Yearwood.
Survivors: Loving husband of over 63 years, Ray Bierig; daughter, Lunnessa Wade; son, Kelly Bierig and wife Shannah.
