Londyn Maryanna Tippett, 20, of Hurst, TX, died on June 24, 2022 from injuries sustained in a car accident.
Londyn was born on October 24, 2001 to Sean and Amy Tippett in Austin, TX. Her bright red hair and bold, beautiful personality always made her the most unique person in any room. She loved shopping for vintage clothes and could style them in a way that made them look completely new and fashionable. She had an obsession for beanies, hair scarves, music, travel, sushi, animals, and human rights – specifically women’s rights. Never one to keep an opinion to herself, Londyn was determined to be a voice for the oppressed and to make her mark on the world.
Londyn graduated from L.D. Bell High School in May 2020. She was an incredibly talented flautist and a leader of the L.D. Bell Blue Raider Marching Band her senior year. Her best high school memories were spent on band trips and at competitions with her bandmates. She was junior at the University of North Texas, majoring in journalism and minoring in Spanish and recently started reporting for the university radio station. Her hobbies included attending concerts, photography, hanging out with her friends, and spending time with her family and her beloved cat, Salem, and dog, Obi.
Londyn was fiercely loved and cherished by everyone in her life and she is tremendously missed by surviving members of the family including her dad and mom, Sean and Amy Tippett, brother, Brendan Tippett, maternal grandparents, Mike (Papa Bear) and Anita (Mimi) Peters of Hurst and paternal grandmother Cindy (Granna) Tippett of Granbury,TX, her aunts and uncles, Angela and Randy Vargo of Colleyville, TX; and Oanh and Justin Tippett of San Antonio, TX, her cousins, Roan and Reid Vargo, of Colleyville, TX; Hannah, Fayeth, Gavin and Emily Tippett of San Antonio, TX and many other extended family and friends. Londyn was greeted in heaven by her Papa, Robert Tippett, great grandparents, and other relatives who predeceased her.
Anyone who knew Londyn, knew that she was incredibly kindhearted. She was always a source of positivity and possibilities and, although her life was cut short, her light will continue to shine through the many, many lives she touched.
Contributions in memory of Londyn can be made to L.D. Bell band.
