Lottie Anita Hughes, 83, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017.
Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Church@Rhome. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home-Keller Chapel.
Anita was born September 7, 1933 in Quinlan to the late Leonard and Nettie Goode. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Justin. Anita retired from Walmart. She was known to everyone as "Grandma". Grandma enjoyed gardening but most of all she loved spoiling her grandkids and great-grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Y. Hughes; numerous siblings; daughter-in-law, Kim Hughes; grandchildren, Afton Hughes-Royse and Shiloh Hughes.
Sons, Gary W. Hughes and wife, Barbara of Sunset and Randy L. Hughes of Justin; grandchildren, Gary W. Hughes II and wife, Amanda, Casey Martin and husband, Chris, and Levi Hughes; and five great-grandchildren.
