Lucille Chieh Yu

Lucille Chieh Yu, of Roanoke, Texas, passed away on March 23, 2023 in her home. She will always be remembered as a loving friend and colleague to all that knew and loved her. She was born on approximately March 7, 1949 in Shanghai China. Her family emigrated from mainland China to Taiwan due to the Chinese civil war, where she lived in the Taipei, Taiwan area with her family. She subsequently moved to this country. She held a Masters in Mathematics, and was an early leader in computer science working for American Airlines, and then later Saber Corporation in Southlake, Texas. Lucille was very involved with her church, the Church of the Hidden Light, also known as the Fraternity of the Hidden Light, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fraternity of the Hidden Light.
