Luke Wayne Foster

April 15, 1971 — August 6, 2016

“Gonna make the most of every mile, Do anything to make you smile” -Luke Bryan

This is how Luke Foster lived his life….to make anyone he was around smile.

Luke Wayne Foster began making everyone smile the day he was born. On April 15, 1971 in Ransom, KS Luke was born to Jimmy and Roberta Foster. We all lost a piece of ourselves when Luke joined Our Lord on August 6.
Luke grew up in Utica, KS where he graduated from High School in 1989. He went on to play football at Fort Hays State where he received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Luke’s pride and joy were his girls. Luke leapt into his most important role, as dad, when Luke welcomed three beautiful daughters, Ashlyn Paige, Sydnee Jade and Gracie Meg.
Luke met the love of his life 8 years ago when he and Laurie met through mutual friends (on a golf course). Together with his soul mate, Luke and Laurie have spent the last eight years making the most of their time with the girls. From attending church to road trips they have created memories that will certainly endure.
Luke was baptized in the First Christian Church in Utica, KS and later joined the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Hutchinson, KS. Most recently Luke renewed his faith to the Lord by being baptized again with his daughter Sydnee at the Fellowship Church, Fort Worth, TX.
Luke enjoyed the outdoors from growing up on the back of a coyote wagon at a very early age to enjoying a variety of outdoor activities. He had a love of horses, hunting, fishing, and snowboarding. One of his loves was watching and attending K-State football games. He had a passion for photography and an eye for finding the beauty in all. His greatest love of all was attending his girls’ activities and spending time with friends and family.
He was owner and operator of ASG Industries, a general contracting company established in Fort Worth, TX. He lovingly named his company after his three daughters.
Luke will be greatly missed by his brother Kirk, sisters, Shela, Jayme and Dawn, his brothers- in -law Randy and Bob, his sister in law, Michelle, as well as many nieces and nephews. Luke’s legacy of spreading joy and engaging in shenanigans will live on in the loves of his life, Ashlyn, Sydnee, Gracie and Laurie.
