Luther Emerson Coffman, 77, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 30, 2015.
Memorial service: 7 p.m. Tuesday at Abundant Life Family Church, 6800 Denton Highway.
A native of Walker County, Ga., Luther was one of 13 children born to H.C. and Annie Akin Coffman. He was an avid bowler who also enjoyed all other sports. Luther could always be counted on to help family and friends. He retired as an auto mechanic and body repairman.
Survivors: His wife, Cheryl; children, Luther Coffman Jr., Tony Coffman, Deborah Butterworth, Curtis Coffman, Jennifer Meuir; stepchildren, Kerry Davis, Leslie Brateng, Greg Davis and Michele Christensen; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Marvin Coffman, Pete Coffman, Ivey Coffman; and sister, Betty Pearson.
